Marilyn Monroe's birthday was June 1st so this is a belated Happy Birthday. She would have been 87 this year. Happy Birthday, Norma Jean...This is a pen and ink wash drawing I did in the late 90's in one of her iconic poses. I still have the original art for it and never sold it cause I liked the way it came out. Enjoy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NORMA JEAN!
Marilyn Monroe's birthday was June 1st so this is a belated Happy Birthday. She would have been 87 this year. Haha! True. A cartoon version is a great way to stay young! I guess that's why I like Silver's version of me that I use for my profile pic. Shelly Winters was cute way back when she first started out in Hollywood, but most people remember her later work when she was heavy set and was older, such as her appearance on the Batman TV show where she played the evil Ma Parker I believe. I still have the image of her in her prison strips and rocking in her rocking chair as she knits...
